VIDEO: Sadat X Breaks Down The Crack Era In NYC

This week’s features Brand Nubian’s Sadat X,  talking about the discovery of crack, aka “the greatest thing ever !”, back when shit was legal. The Great Derek X also breaks down some of his “Slow Down” lyrics, and lets us know more about a Bronx dude named Boy George, (cf. Cormega’s “Glory Days”) a former neighbor of his who once rent his crib to Calvin Klein for a shooting.

This is awesome. Sadat breaks down the history of crack in NYC and admits to smoking woolies back in the day. I wonder how many rappers have smoked or snorted cocaine at some point? Probably a lot more than you would think.
