This is such a rare heart-breaking story. A Nassau Inter County Express bus
crashed into a Hempstead house after the driver swerved off the road to
avoid a jaywalkin
g pedestrian. The
tragedy left a 6-year-old boy inside the home dead. His 7-year-old
brother was in the room with him and saw the whole thing. Speaking about
his brother, the little boy said "I wished nobody invented the bus, so
he would still be alive."
